This page describes how the Hydrogen Gym mobile application collects, uses, retains, and
deletes your personal and health data. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
1 Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data to provide and improve our services:
- Personal Information: Your name, phone number, and email address, used to create
and manage your gym membership account.
- Health & Fitness Data: When you use workout tracking or exercise features, we may
collect health-related data such as exercise logs, weight, height, body measurements, and calorie
information. This data is used solely within the app to personalize your fitness
journey and is never sold, shared, or transferred to third parties or advertising networks.
- Location & Device Data: We may access your device's location, Bluetooth, or NFC
capabilities exclusively to enable the smart door-access feature (unlocking gym
doors via your phone) and to verify your physical presence at the facility.
2 How We Use Your Data
The data we collect is used only for the following purposes:
- Managing your membership account, subscription status, and payment records.
- Enabling smart door access to the gym facility through the app.
- Providing personalized workout plans and exercise content based on your fitness data.
- Sending you important notifications related to your account, subscription renewals, or gym
announcements.
3 Data Retention
We retain your personal and health data for as long as your account remains active and your membership
subscription is valid.
If you choose to cancel your membership and close your account, your data will be retained for a maximum
of 30 days for accounting and legal purposes. After this period, all your data —
including health and personal information — will be permanently and securely deleted
from our servers and cannot be recovered.
4 Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. You can
do so through one of the following methods:
- In-App: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account & Data. This
will immediately initiate the deletion process.
- By Email: Send a formal deletion request to info@hydrogengym.com with the subject line "Data
Deletion Request". We will confirm and complete the deletion within 14
days.
5 Terms of Use
- Eligibility: This app is intended exclusively for registered Hydrogen Gym members.
Use of the app for any unauthorized or unlawful purpose is strictly prohibited.
- Door Access: The door-unlock feature is personal and non-transferable. Sharing your
account credentials or allowing non-members to access the facility using your account may result in
immediate suspension or termination of your membership.
- Subscriptions & Payments: Membership renewals and billing are governed by the terms
agreed upon with Hydrogen Gym management. Refunds and cancellations are subject to the gym's refund
policy.
- Health Disclaimer: Workout plans and exercises shown in the app are for
informational and guidance purposes only. Please consult a qualified physician or certified trainer
before starting any new exercise program to avoid injury.
6 Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices or to
comply with app store requirements (such as Google Play policies). You will be notified of any
significant changes through in-app notifications. Continued use of the app after changes are posted
constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
